Terms of service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Welcome to Smoosh Box! These terms apply when you use our website or buy from us. Smoosh Box is a trading name of INSTINCTIVE DRIVING AUST PTY LTD (ABN 73 684 790 396, ACN 684 790 396), an Australian company based in South Australia ("we", "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Your consumer rights come first

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. If anything here seems to conflict with those rights, your rights win.

Who can order

We deliver to Australian addresses only. You need to be 18 or older to place an order, or have a parent or guardian's permission and help.

Play safe

Our squishies are for ages 8+. Not suitable for children under 3.
They contain small parts and gel. Keep them away from young children, as small parts may be a choking hazard.
They're not food, however tasty they look. Don't eat, bite or chew them.
Never heat, microwave or freeze them.
Stop using any toy that is torn or leaking, and keep the contents away from mouths and eyes.

Our products

We do our best to describe and photograph every toy accurately. Colours, sizes and details may vary slightly from photos and between batches. Some toys behave in special ways by design: crunchy/wax toys crack on the first squeeze, and sugar/maltose-style toys can feel sticky. Neither is a defect.

Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. We're registered for GST, and a tax invoice is available on request through our contact page.
The price at checkout is the total you pay for the toys plus any shipping shown.
Build your box: the price per toy drops automatically as you add more, from A$14.95 for one toy down to A$8.29 each for 12 or more. Premium characters cost an extra A$4 each. Current price tiers are shown in the store.
Sales: sale prices apply only during the dates shown and end at the stated time.
Free mini squishy: on orders over A$60 you can add one free mini squishy to your cart before checkout. One per order, while stocks last.
We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed.

Pricing or listing mistakes

Mistakes happen, like a wrong price or a toy showing as available when it's sold out. If we spot an obvious error after you order, we'll contact you before shipping. You can go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. If a toy is unavailable, we'll offer a swap or refund that item.

Orders and payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments or another method shown at checkout. Your confirmation email means we've received your order. We may cancel and fully refund an order if we suspect fraud, can't deliver to the address, or for the errors described above.

Shipping, returns and privacy

These policies form part of these terms:

Using our website

Please don't misuse our website, for example by trying to hack it, scrape it or place fake orders. The text, photos, logos and designs on this site belong to us or our suppliers and are protected by copyright. Don't copy them for commercial use without permission.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for loss that isn't reasonably foreseeable, or that results from using a toy in a way that ignores the safety information above. This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a faulty product.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Disputes will be handled by the courts of South Australia (and courts that hear appeals from them). This doesn't affect your right to use a consumer agency or tribunal in your own state or territory.
